Our Firm

When you work with Lenox, you work with one of our senior team members every step of the way: from the initial pitch to the closing of the transaction. Our transaction team supports our partners to ensure you receive best-in-class client service, seven days a week. At Lenox, your transaction is our priority.

Formed in 2003, The Lenox Group is an Atlanta-based, boutique investment bank focused on providing mergers and acquisitions advisory services, capital raising, and financial advisory for private, middle-market companies with revenues between $10 million and $300 million. Since inception, Lenox bankers have focused on companies in the Industrials, Healthcare, Business Services & Technology, and Consumer industries. Within these core sectors, we have completed transactions in a variety of sub-sectors as detailed in our Industries section.

Our mergers and acquisitions practice includes both sell-side and buy-side advisory. On the sell-side, we primarily help owners gain liquidity through a complete sale or recapitalization. Recapitalizations can be either majority or minority. In addition, we assist companies with divestitures whereby a company will sell a division or subsidiary of its business. On the buy-side, our services range from identifying targets for acquisition to assisting management teams in acquiring the business for which they currently work.

For capital raising, we raise both debt and equity capital. Lenox is typically engaged to raise capital for growth, acquisition, debt refinancing, or shareholder liquidity. Our capital raising engagements have a capital need of at least $10 million and are performed for businesses with existing operating history and revenues. Lenox maintains deep relationships with capital providers across North America that can tailor solutions to each need.

Lastly, we offer financial advisory services. Financial advisory includes valuations, fairness opinions, and strategic advisory. In many cases, financial advisory is the starting point for our engagements. Prior to beginning an engagement, we will perform a valuation of that business for free. This allows Lenox to align expectations with shareholders as to what their business may be worth to the market, and educate prospective clients on the transaction process. Through our strategic advisory services, we will work alongside a business or its shareholders to evaluate strategic decisions to position the company for growth or liquidity ahead of a transaction.

Lenox’s commitment to the middle-market is consistent and is not affected by market changes. As a result of this focus, Lenox has established an extensive contact base with institutional lenders, investors, and buyers focusing on middle-market companies. Middle-market clients require patience and support as the sale of their company or the introduction of outside capital is potentially the most important and uncertain event in their company’s history. We understand the needs of families, founders, and entrepreneurs and have developed a process which educates the client on what to expect while producing a successful outcome. Our proven strategy and knowledge of the capital markets position a client to succeed through any market condition.
