Davis Landscape, based in Atlanta, Georgia was established in 1994 and is a leading provider of commercial landscaping services to managers of multi-family properties, Homeowners Associations, commercial properties, builders, and investors. In 2004, Jay Stephens purchased the Company and shifted the business model towards recurring, maintenance-oriented landscaping services. The Company offers best in class weekly maintenance, enhancements and repairs, rehab and capital projects, floriculture, irrigation, design, and installation services. Additionally, the Company offers in-house turf chemical expertise with degreed and licensed applicators. Davis Landscapes has two locations outside of Atlanta which allows the Company to expand coverage and offer more flexible services.
Sell-Side Mandate:
The Lenox Group was contacted by Davis Landscape to explore the sale of the Company. Mr. Stephens had been managing the day-to-day for the last 15 years and was interested in finding the right buyer or investor to sell a majority of his equity. Lenox worked with Davis to undergo a quality of earnings, build a financial model, develop marketing materials, market the business to potential buyers, negotiate with interested parties, organize and administer management presentations, and complete financial and business due diligence.

The Lenox Group successfully assisted Davis Landscape on its sale to Scopes Facility Services, a platform company of Westbridge Capital Ltd, a Canadian private equity firm. Scopes Facility Services is a premier provider of comprehensive facility and landscaping services across the United States
