Deal Synopsis:
The Lenox Group acted as the exclusive financial advisor to The Wellington Group (“Wellington”) on its financing from Empire Financial Services, Inc (“Empire”). Empire’s senior credit facility provided financing for three of its existing assisted living facilities in Athens, Cleveland, and Greenville, Tennessee.
The Wellington Group was formed in 1996 to develop and operate Assisted Living Facilities throughout the United States. It currently operates 18 facilities in six states (Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee). The Wellington Group’s assisted living communities are based on a firmly rooted philosophy of care and service. Each Wellington Place facility offers all that is best in assisted living with purpose-built, state-of-the-art buildings, highly qualified staff, and a wide variety of amenities.
